Iestyn Foster

With 24 years’ experience designing, managing and delivering health care services Iestyn joined Biomet’s Rapid Recovery team in 2013. With the relevant clinical and leadership skills to efficiently manage the Fragility Hip Fracture programme, Iestyn provides expert advice to key stakeholders, ensuring the organisation have the correct resources to deliver a sustainable Fragility Hip Fracture service that is congruent with current Best Practice guidelines. A Project Manager for the Rapid Recovery service, Iestyn’s primary objective is to achieve high quality care for patients undergoing complex medical interventions that are associated with the management of fragility fracture.

A registered Healthcare Professional (HCP), Iestyn combines experience gained from the NHS and private healthcare sectors. Clinically, Iestyn has managed teams in Anaesthetics, Cardiothoracic surgery and Critical Care transfers. Management roles include operating theatre management, health commissioning and operating theatre service design. With his two sons, Iestyn enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits, sporting activities and completing various physical challenges for worthwhile charities.
