Paul Cottingham

Paul has more than 30 years experience in complex change, operations, quality and continuous improvement management spanning both private and public healthcare sectors. He is a certified Six Sigma black belt, Lean Practitioner, Human Factors and Systems Thinking trainer, facilitator & coach.


Over the last 10 years Paul has played a number of key roles delivering a variety of programs within healthcare and has a wealth of experience in providing Managed Services, Operating Theatres Improvement, Patient Pathway Transformation and the design and delivery of accredited Service Improvement and team effectiveness educational workshops and courses.


As a project manager in the Rapid Recovery team Paul will bring all his knowledge and expertise to engage with orthopaedic HCP’s to facilitate both the cultural change and pathway transformation necessary for the sustainable delivery of healthcare services.


Outside of work Paul spends most of his spare time with his family and socialising, but also enjoys DIY, sport and travel.

  • Developing sustainable relationships through demonstrating empathy to the clients and the patient’s needs
  • Experienced in pathway transformation in Orthopaedics, Cardiology, ENT, Endoscopy & Opthalmology patient pathways.
