Theatre Care Rapide’s Quality Management System (QMS) complies with BS EN 13485-2012. A state-of-the-art ‘Track & Trace’ system provides accurate historical traceability.  Instruments and implants can be traced to the hospital, specific procedure(s) and to the patient.  Regular audits, performed by an external governing body, monitors compliance and quality assurance


Strictly adhering to the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Authority; Medical Devices Directive (MDD) & British Standards Institute (BSI) statutory policies and procedures instructions


Just in time’ delivery of instruments and implants direct to the operating theatre department, eliminating the requirement for loan instrumentation and the requirement for decontamination and sterilisation processes.  Biomet also assume responsibility for the safe removal of all used surgical instrumentation after the use


Surgical pre-planning ensures only patient-specific instruments *Two-tray System* and implants are delivered to the hospital, sterile.  Theatre efficiency is greatly improved due to reduced surgery time,  reduced turn-around time, allowing for the surgical team to plan for and implement high efficiency arthroplasty lists
